Vent

for bass clarinet (or contrabass flute) and contraforte (or contrabassoon)

Vent is an ode to repetitive, obsessive, intrusive thoughts, and what finally happens when those thoughts can no longer be contained.

Vent was commissioned and premiered by Keyed Kontraptions. It exists in two alternate versions: one for bass clarinet and contraforte/contrabassoon, and one for contrabass flute and contraforte/contrabassoon.
